Privacy Policy

Phrazit is a DJ training app published by XOR Studios Limited ("we", "us"). It is built offline-first: you can install it, work through every free exercise, and keep your progress without ever creating an account or sending us anything. This policy explains what changes when you do create one.

What we collect

If you do not create an account: nothing. Your progress, hot cues, and settings are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to us.

If you create an account, we store:

• Your email address, used to identify your account and send account-related mail. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your address, we only ever see Apple's private relay address.
• A display name, if you set one.
• Your learning progress, XP, level, achievements, which exercises you have completed and which lessons you have viewed, and per-attempt scores (accuracy, timing, technique) with the time each attempt was played.
• Your hot cue positions for the bundled tracks.
• Subscription status, whether a subscription is active, which plan, and when the period ends, plus the payment provider's customer and subscription identifiers.
• Tracks you upload, the audio file and the metadata you give it. Track upload is not available yet; nothing is stored until you use it.

Our backend provider also keeps ordinary server logs (including IP address and request time) when your device talks to it, for security and abuse prevention.

What we do not collect

• No analytics or telemetry. The app contains no analytics SDK.
• No advertising, no ad identifiers, and no tracking across apps or websites. We do not use the App Tracking Transparency framework because we have nothing to track you with.
• No access to your microphone, camera, photos, contacts, location, or health data. The app never asks for these permissions.
• No payment card details. Card data goes directly to our payment provider and never reaches us.
• We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who processes your data

• Supabase hosts our database and handles authentication. Your account and progress live there.
• Paddle is our merchant of record for subscriptions purchased on the web. Paddle handles payment and tax, and we receive only the subscription status.
• Apple handles subscriptions purchased inside the iOS app, and handles Sign in with Apple. Apple's own privacy policy governs what it collects.

Where your data is stored on your device

The app keeps your progress, hot cues, theme, and sign-in session in local app storage, UserDefaults on iOS, browser local storage on the web. This is what makes the app work offline. Signing out clears your progress and hot cues from it, and deleting your account erases everything the app stored about that account.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: Account → Danger zone → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. It removes your profile, progress, exercise history, hot cues, uploaded tracks, and subscription record from our database, and erases your account data from the device you delete from.

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription, because billing is held by Apple or Paddle rather than by us. Cancel the subscription first, through the App Store or through the billing page.

Backups held by our hosting provider may retain deleted rows for a short period before they age out. If you would rather have us do it, write to support@phrazit.com.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or erase the personal data we hold about you, and to object to our processing of it. Deleting your account, described above, covers erasure. For access, correction, export, or anything else, contact us at support@phrazit.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Phrazit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page and, for account holders, notify you by email before the change takes effect.
