Terms of Use
Last updated 12 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and XOR Studios Limited ("we", "us") and cover your use of Phrazit. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not, please stop using the app.
The service
Phrazit is an educational tool for practising DJ technique, beat matching, phrasing, transitions, filtering, and harmonic mixing. It simulates a two-deck setup; it is not a performance tool and we make no promise that practising with it produces any particular result.
The core of the app runs entirely on your device and works offline. An account is optional and only adds cloud backup of your progress.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. Deletion is permanent.
- We may suspend or terminate an account that is used to abuse the service or breaks these terms.
Subscriptions and payment
- Phrazit Pro is a recurring subscription. It renews automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
- Subscriptions bought inside the iOS app are billed by Apple and governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. Manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings, we cannot cancel them for you.
- Subscriptions bought inside the Android app are billed by Google and governed by the Google Play Terms of Service. Manage or cancel them in your Google Play subscriptions, we cannot cancel them for you.
- Subscriptions bought on the web are billed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Manage or cancel them from the billing page.
- Wherever you bought it, cancel it with that same provider. A subscription bought on one platform cannot be cancelled from another.
- Prices may change. We will tell existing subscribers before a change affects them.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not give partial refunds for unused time except where the law requires it.
Content and licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app for your own practice. The audio, exercises, artwork, and software in Phrazit belong to us or to our licensors. Do not redistribute the bundled audio, extract it for other uses, or resell access to the app.
Anything you upload stays yours. By uploading it you give us the limited permission needed to store it and play it back to you inside the app. Only upload audio you have the right to use.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Do not use the app to store or share unlawful material.
- Do not share an account to circumvent paying for Pro.
Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it working and to keep your synced progress safe, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including, for consumers in New Zealand, rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Keep in mind that progress kept only on your device can be lost if you delete the app or reset the device. An account is the backup.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by updating the date at the top of this page and, for account holders, by email. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
